Question 1

If the recipes are free here, what am I paying for?

Accepted Answer

You are paying for the organised version: every recipe laid out on its own page for ordinary printer paper, shopping lists grouped the way a supermarket is laid out, and a planner for the fridge door. Nothing is hidden behind the payment. You can cook every one of these recipes from the website for nothing.

Question 2

What is in each pack?

Accepted Answer

A Month of Family Dinners ($12) — Four weeks of five-night family dinners: 22 confirmed recipes, weekly shopping lists and a printable fridge planner. The Family Baking Pack ($12) — Nine stuffed cookies and five family muffins, with a baking list and a Bake Once, Share Twice guide. The Bobbie's Kitchen Starter Collection ($19) — Both full packs, all 36 recipes and every printable, plus Bobbie's kitchen staples checklist — save $5. Soup & Cozy Nights ($9) — Seven confirmed soups and chowders, one combined shopping list and a printable cozy-night planner. Pies, Bakes & Casseroles ($9) — Seven golden oven dinners — chicken pot pie, shepherd's pie, lasagna, calzones and two pizza pot pies — with one combined shopping list. Dips & Party Snacks ($9) — Twenty crowd-pleasers — three hummus, salsa, guacamole and fifteen dips — with one combined shopping list for party day. Bobbie's Desserts ($9) — Fifteen family desserts — pies, cobbler, carrot cake, shortcake, lemon bars and cinnamon rolls — with one combined shopping list. More Family Favourites ($12) — Twenty-seven more of Bobbie's complete recipes: family dinners, two Chicken Pad Thai recipes, salads, homemade staples and crumble topping, with one combined shopping list. The Whole Kitchen Collection ($39) — Every pack in one payment: all 152 printable pack recipes, including both Chicken Pad Thai recipes, eleven signature cakes and 29 holiday drinks, every printable and the kitchen staples checklist — save $51.

Question 3

Is there a free one I can try first?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Five Family Dinners is a complete Monday-to-Friday week with five recipes and a shopping list, and it costs nothing. Add your email on the Recipe Packs page and the download arrives straight away.

Question 4

How do I get the files after paying?

Accepted Answer

The moment your payment goes through you land on your own private download page with a button for each file. That page stays yours for a year, and we email you the link as well so you can come back to it.

Question 5

Do I need a special printer or paper?

Accepted Answer

No. Everything is designed for an ordinary home printer on ordinary A4 or Letter paper, in black and white or colour. Nothing is posted to you — the packs are files you download and print yourself, as many times as you like.

Question 6

Does the dinner pack really cover a whole month?

Accepted Answer

Yes. It is four separate Monday-to-Friday weeks — twenty weekday dinners — plus two extra recipes for the weekend or for a side dish. That is 22 recipes in total, with a shopping list for each of the four weeks.

Question 7

What do the three keepsake packages include?

Accepted Answer

Family Photo Keepsake ($149) — A warm, professionally arranged family photo book with your own captions and stories. Includes: Up to 25 photos, Up to 50 designed pages, Captions and family stories, One proof and one revision. Family Recipe Keepsake ($249) — Your treasured recipe cards and photographs turned into a family book made to be used. Includes: Up to 10 recipes or cards, Up to 25 photos, Recipe transcription, Up to 50 pages, One proof and one revision. The Family Kitchen Heirloom ($499) — The fullest family cookbook: recipes, photographs, card scans and the story behind the kitchen. Includes: Up to 25 recipes, Up to 50 photos, Family introduction and card scans, A fully designed proof, Two revision rounds.

Question 8

Why are printing and postage quoted separately?

Accepted Answer

The package price pays for the design work, your proof and the revisions listed in that package. What a printed copy costs depends on the size, the paper, the cover and where in the world it is going, so Bobbie quotes that separately once your proof is ready. Nothing is printed until you agree to that cost.

Question 9

What happens after I pay for a keepsake?

Accepted Answer

You go straight to a private upload page where you add your photos, your recipe cards, captions and any dedication you want in the front. Bobbie then designs the book and sends you a proof to read through before anything is finished.

Question 10

Can I send handwritten recipe cards?

Accepted Answer

Yes — a clear photo of each card is enough. On the recipe and heirloom packages the handwriting is typed up so the recipes are easy to cook from, and the Heirloom package also keeps a scan of the original card in the book.

Question 11

Is this a subscription?

Accepted Answer

No. Every pack and every keepsake package is a single one-off payment. There is no membership, nothing renews and there is no card stored for later.

Question 12

How do I pay, and is my card safe?

Accepted Answer

Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details are typed into Stripe's own secure form — Bobbie's Kitchen never sees or keeps your card number. You can pay in US dollars or euros, and depending on where you live tax may be added and shown to you before you pay.

Question 13

What if a pack is not what I expected?

Accepted Answer

Email us within 14 days and we refund you in full. You do not have to explain yourself and you keep the files. The money goes back to the card you paid with and usually shows up within a few working days.

Question 14

Can I share a pack with family?

Accepted Answer

The pack is for you and your household, so printing a copy for your own kitchen is fine. Please don't post the files publicly or resell them. If you would like to give a pack as a present, email us and we will help.

Question 15

Are the timings and amounts tested?

Accepted Answer

They come straight from Bobbie's own recipe cards and kitchen. Where a detail such as a simmer time still needs confirming, the page says so rather than guessing. Only recipes with every detail confirmed go into the paid packs.

Question 16

What about allergies?

Accepted Answer

Please read the ingredient list on each recipe yourself before cooking for anyone with an allergy. These are home recipes, not clinically checked dietary plans.

Question 17

Can I get help choosing what to cook?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From What's Left suggests meals from the ingredients you already have at home, and Shopping List turns the recipes you pick into one organised grocery list. Both are free to use.
